DETAILED ITINERARY
Meet at Turismo Ecuador 24
Your adventure begins at the Turismo Ecuador 24 office, where our staff will welcome you and complete the registration process.
Our certified canyoning guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing covering rappelling techniques, equipment use, and safety procedures.
Each participant will receive professional safety equipment, including:
- Wetsuit
- Safety harness
- Certified helmet
- Shoes
Transfer to Casahurco
Travel by private tourist transportation to Casahurco Canyon, located approximately 40 minutes from Baños. Along the way, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery and lush cloud forest landscapes.
Rappelling Practice
Before entering the canyon, you will participate in a basic rappelling practice session to learn proper descending techniques and become familiar with the equipment under the supervision of our professional guides.
Begin the Adventure
Your canyoning adventure starts as you descend beautiful waterfalls, hike through the river canyon, enjoy natural rock slides, and make optional jumps into crystal-clear natural pools.
Main Descents
First Rappel – 5 meters
Begin with an easy 5-meter waterfall, perfect for building confidence.
Second Rappel – 7 meters
Continue with an exciting 7-meter descent along the river.
35-Meter Zipline
Fly across the canyon on an incredible 35-meter zipline, offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
Hidden Waterfall – 23 meters
One of the highlights of the tour is the impressive 23-meter Hidden Waterfall, providing an unforgettable rappelling experience.
3-Meter Waterfall & Optional Jump
Descend a smaller waterfall before making an optional jump into a refreshing natural pool.
Final Rappel – 14 meters
Complete the adventure with a thrilling 14-meter rappel, followed by an optional 2-meter jump and free time to swim, relax, and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
Traditional Ecuadorian Lunch (Optional Depending on Your Tour Package)
