DETAILED ITINERARY
Meet at Turismo Ecuador 24
Your adventure begins at the Turismo Ecuador 24 office, where our friendly staff will welcome you. After check-in and signing the required waiver forms, you will receive a brief overview of the day's itinerary before heading to the river.
Transfer to the Pastaza River
Travel in comfortable tourist transportation to the rafting starting point, located approximately 35 minutes from Baños. Along the way, enjoy spectacular scenery where the Andes Mountains meet the Ecuadorian Amazon.
Safety Briefing & Equipment
Before entering the river, our certified professional rafting guides will provide a comprehensive safety briefing covering paddling techniques, river commands, teamwork, and emergency procedures.
You will then receive all the necessary rafting equipment, including:
- Certified safety helmet
- Life jacket (PFD)
- Professional paddle
- Wetsuit (when weather conditions require it)
Rafting Adventure on the Pastaza River
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure!
Spend approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes navigating the exciting Class III and IV rapids of the Pastaza River, one of Ecuador's premier rafting destinations. This section offers the perfect combination of adrenaline and fun for both beginners and experienced rafters.
As you paddle through the river, you'll be surrounded by breathtaking canyon landscapes, lush tropical vegetation, waterfalls, and the spectacular transition between the Andes and the Ecuadorian Amazon. Throughout the journey, our experienced guides will ensure your safety while making the experience exciting and memorable.
Traditional Lunch Included
After completing the rafting adventure, enjoy a delicious Ecuadorian lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to Baños
Following lunch, we will drive back to Baños de Agua Santa, where your rafting adventure comes to an end.
