Your adventure begins at our main office in Baños de Agua Santa, where our team will welcome you and prepare everything before starting the route.
The following activities will be completed:
- Participant registration.
- Signing of responsibility documents.
- Verification of driving license and identification documents.

- Driver’s license.
- Passport (international visitors).
Jeep Delivery and Route Explanation
Before starting the adventure, you will receive:
- A modern and well-maintained manual Jeep.
- A printed map with the route clearly marked.
- Digital route assistance through Google Maps.
The route is designed to be easy and safe, allowing you to enjoy the landscapes and attractions without complications.

Safety Briefing and Driving Instructions
Before departure, our team will provide an explanation about:
- Proper manual Jeep operation.

Once everything is ready, your adventure through one of Ecuador’s most famous scenic routes begins.
First Stop: Agoyán Waterfall
Distance: 7 km from Baños
Approximate time: 15 minutes
We begin the famous Waterfalls Route, surrounded by mountains, rivers, and beautiful Andean landscapes.
During the journey, you will observe:
- Agoyán Dam.
- Agoyán Waterfall.
- Culebrilla Waterfall.
- La Esperanza Waterfall.
- Natural tunnels surrounded by waterfalls.
A perfect experience to enjoy the nature and beauty of Baños de Agua Santa.
Second Stop: Tunnel and Pastaza River Viewpoint
Additional distance: 2 km
We continue through the old road that connected Baños with the Amazon region before the construction of the modern tunnels. Today, this area is a beautiful cycling path and scenic viewpoint.
We arrive at Río Blanco, where you can enjoy optional adventure activities:
- Glass Bridge.
- Tibetan Bridge.
- Bridge Jump.
- Canopy.
- Extreme Ball.
Optional activities:
Approximate cost between USD $10 and USD $25, depending on the activity.
Cash is recommended.
Third Stop: Manto de la Novia Waterfall
Distance: 15 km from Baños
We visit one of the most famous waterfalls along the Waterfalls Route.
Here you can choose between:
- Crossing the waterfall by the traditional Tarabita (aerial cable basket).
- Walking to the panoramic viewpoint.
Tarabita cost: USD $2 (cash recommended).
We continue the route towards Río Verde and the entrance to the famous Pailón del Diablo waterfall.
Fourth Stop: Pailón del Diablo Waterfall
Distance: 17 km from Baños
We arrive at Río Verde, where parking areas are available to leave the Jeep safely.
Approximate parking cost: USD $1.
Pailón del Diablo is one of Ecuador’s most impressive waterfalls, surrounded by lush vegetation, trails, and spectacular viewpoints.
Visitors can choose between two walking options:
Long Trail
- Approximate duration: 1 hour round trip.
- Allows you to get closer to the impressive waterfall.
Short Trail
- Approximate duration: 30 minutes round trip.
- Allows you to admire the waterfall from the upper viewpoint.
Pailón del Diablo entrance fee:
- Daytime entrance: USD $3.
- Night visit to Pailón del Diablo:
- Long trail: USD $5.
- Short trail: USD $3.
Return to Baños de Agua Santa
We return through the same scenic route while enjoying the beautiful landscapes once again.
Distance: 17 km
Approximate time: 30 to 40 minutes by Jeep.
During the return, you will enjoy:
- Scenic bridges.
- Natural viewpoints.
- Mountain tunnels.
- Pastaza River landscapes.
End of the Tour
Return the Jeep at the Turismo Ecuador 24 office and complete the activity.
