1. Departure from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno
Pick-up from your hotel or an agreed meeting point in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristóbal.
Travel by vehicle toward the Puerto Chino area.
2. Galapaguera – Optional Combination
Puerto Chino is located on the same route as the Tortoises Breeding Center – Galapaguera.
If you choose the combined option, we can visit the Galapaguera first and then continue to Puerto Chino.
At the breeding center, you can see Galápagos giant tortoises and learn about conservation and breeding programs.
3. Walk to Puerto Chino
Continue toward Puerto Chino.
From the end of the vehicle-accessible section, we will walk toward the beach.
The trail provides opportunities to enjoy the natural landscape of San Cristóbal.
4. Puerto Chino Beach
Once at the beach, enjoy:
- White sand
- Clear water
- Coastal scenery
- Walking along the beach
- Swimming, when conditions are appropriate
- Relaxation time
- Landscape photography
5. Free Time at the Beach
Enjoy free time to walk, swim or simply relax.
The activity can be adapted to the travelers' preferred pace.
6. Return
After enjoying Puerto Chino, return by vehicle to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
If you choose the combined itinerary, additional attractions may be included depending on the available time.
Recommended duration: approximately 4–5 hours for Puerto Chino.
Galapaguera + Puerto Chino combined: approximately 5–6 hours.
