DETAILED ITINERARY:
- Meeting at the Turismo Ecuador 24 Office
Welcome, registration, and signing of documents. (You must bring your ID and driver's license or passport for foreign tourists)
- Equipment Delivery
You will be provided with approved helmets, which are vitally important to wear for your safety and in accordance with company rules.
Handing over the map with the marked route is easy. It also has a Google Map backup. Here, you can also find the route to the Pailon del Diablo. (If you require a guide, the guide has an extra cost, along with the vehicle used for the tour. Please contact Turismo Ecuador 24 Management.)
-Technical Briefing
This is vitally important for driving the Motorcicle. We begin with a test drive. Once everything is ready, we begin the tour.
-First stop: Agoyán Waterfall (7 km - approximately 15 min)
On this route, you will see the Agoyan Dam, Agoyan Waterfall, Culebrilla Waterfall, and La Esperanza Waterfall. You will travel through tunnels filled with waterfalls.
-Second stop: Pastaza River Tunnel and Viewpoint (another 2 km)
We will travel along the old road that existed before the tunnels; today, it is a bike path.
We arrive in Rio Blanco, where you will find several adventure sports such as: the glass bridge, the Tibetan bridge, the bridge jump, canopy, and extreme ball (these activities are optional; prices vary between $10 and $25 depending on the activity; cash is preferred).
-Third stop: Manto de la Novia Waterfall (15 km from Baños).
The cable car to Manto de la Novia, optional crossing by cable car (aerial basket) or hike to the viewpoint (the cable car price is $2; cash is preferred). We continue our journey to Pailón del Diablo Island.
-Fourth stop: Pailón del Diablo Waterfall (17 km from Baños).
Upon arriving in Rio Verde, you will see several park sites where you can leave your vehicle; The cost of parking is $1.
At the entrance to the Pailón del Diablo waterfall, you'll find two options: the long trail, which takes a total of one hour to walk to the waterfall and back, or the short trail, which takes 30 minutes to walk there and back. You can see the waterfall from the top.
The cost of both entrances to the Devil's Pailón is $3 during the day and $5 for the Night Pailon. The long entrance is $5, and the short entrance is $4.
-Return to Baños via the same route (17 km).
Return duration: 30–40 minutes by ATV.
Activity: Recent landscapes, crossing bridges, viewpoints, and tunnels.
End of tour: Return of the Motorcicle and closing of the activity at the main office.
