DAY 1 – ARRIVAL IN QUITO
Arrival at Quito International Airport and private transfer to the hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, enjoy free time to relax or explore nearby areas.
Overnight in Quito.
DAY 2 – QUITO CITY TOUR & MIDDLE OF THE WORLD
After breakfast, we begin exploring Quito’s Historic Center, one of the best-preserved colonial cities in Latin America and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Visits include:
- Basilica of the National Vow
- Plaza Grande
- La Compañía Church
- San Francisco Church
- El Panecillo Viewpoint
Later, we continue to the famous Middle of the World Monument located on the Equator Line.
Optional:
- Quito Cable Car
- Panoramic dinner
Overnight in Quito.
DAY 3 – OTAVALO, PEGUCHE & CUICOCHA
Departure to Imbabura Province through beautiful Andean landscapes.
Visits include:
- San Pablo Lake
- Otavalo Indigenous Market
- Peguche Waterfall
- Cuicocha Lagoon
- Cotacachi (optional)
Experience traditional Ecuadorian culture, crafts, and gastronomy.
Overnight in Quito.
DAY 4 – COTOPAXI VOLCANO & ANDEAN HACIENDA
Early departure to Cotopaxi National Park.
During the tour we will visit:
- Limpiopungo Lagoon
- José Rivas Refuge
- Andean páramo landscapes
- Native flora and fauna
Optional:
- Glacier hike
Afternoon transfer to an Andean hacienda or return to Quito.
Overnight near Cotopaxi or Quito.
DAY 5 – FLIGHT TO THE AMAZON & NAPO WILDLIFE CENTER
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Coca.
Amazon adventure begins:
- Navigation along the Napo River
- Box lunch
- Canoe ride through Amazon lagoons
- Wildlife observation
Arrival at the exclusive Napo Wildlife Center.
Dinner and overnight in the Amazon rainforest.
DAY 6 – PARROT CLAY LICKS & KICHWA CULTURE
Early morning visit to the famous parrot clay licks, one of the Amazon’s most incredible natural spectacles.
Later visits include:
- Kichwa Cultural Center
- Rainforest trails
- Primary forest
- Wildlife observation
Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
DAY 7 – OBSERVATION TOWER & AMAZON EXPLORATION
Sunrise hike to the 36-meter observation tower.
Wildlife spotting opportunities include:
- Toucans
- Macaws
- Monkeys
- Tropical birds
Afternoon activities:
- Canoe exploration
- Giant otter search
- Night walk
Overnight at Napo Wildlife Center.
DAY 8 – AMAZON RELAX DAY
Free day to enjoy the lodge facilities and optional activities:
- Kayaking
- Nature photography
- Birdwatching
- Relaxing surrounded by the rainforest
Farewell dinner.
Overnight in the Amazon.
DAY 9 – RETURN TO QUITO
Early departure back to Coca for the flight to Quito.
