Isla Lobos Tour – San Cristóbal, Galápagos

Discover Isla Lobos, a small island located off the coast of San Cristóbal in the Galápagos Islands. This full-day excursion combines boat navigation, hiking, wildlife observation and snorkeling.

The tour begins at approximately 8:00 a.m. from the main pier in San Cristóbal, aboard a fishing boat used for daily tourist excursions, with a group of approximately 10 guests.

The boat ride from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno to Isla Lobos takes approximately 45 minutes, depending on sea conditions.

Upon arrival, we make a dry landing on a rocky area with natural steps. From there, we begin a hike along the island's trails.

During the hike, you may have the opportunity to observe characteristic Galápagos wildlife, including frigatebirds, blue-footed boobies, sea lions and lava lizards.

One of the highlights is observing the sea lion colonies, including females with their young. Wildlife observation is conducted while respecting the required distances and Galápagos National Park regulations.

The hike lasts approximately 1 hour and is relatively accessible for travelers with a basic level of fitness. Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended.

After the hike, return to the boat for lunch on board, along with snacks and beverages.

The excursion also includes snorkeling equipment and towels, allowing you to enjoy the marine environment around Isla Lobos when sea conditions are suitable.

After the activities, begin the return navigation to San Cristóbal, arriving at approximately 4:00 p.m.
