Operating Hours: Daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (continuous departures subject to availability).

Duration: Approximately 2 hours

Skill Level: Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.

Location: Rural trails surrounding Baños de Agua Santa, including routes toward Runtún or La Virgen, depending on weather conditions and availability.

Meet at Turismo Ecuador 24

Your horseback riding adventure begins at the Turismo Ecuador 24 office, where our team will warmly welcome you.

After participant registration and signing the liability waiver, you will receive an overview of the tour and safety procedures.

Transfer to the Riding Ranch

Travel by private tourist transportation to the horseback riding ranch, located approximately 10–15 minutes from downtown Baños.

Upon arrival, you will meet your horse and receive a complete riding orientation.

Riding Instructions

Before starting the tour, our experienced guide will teach you the basics of horseback riding, including:

• Mounting and dismounting safely.
• Holding and using the reins.
• Controlling your horse's pace.
• Proper riding posture.
• Essential safety guidelines.

No previous riding experience is required.

Horseback Riding Adventure

Begin a relaxing ride through the beautiful countryside surrounding Baños de Agua Santa.

Ride along scenic rural trails surrounded by mountains, forests, waterfalls, and traditional Andean farmland while breathing the fresh mountain air.

Depending on the selected route, you may enjoy views of:

• Baños Valley.
• Tungurahua Volcano (weather permitting).
• La Virgen Waterfall.
• Rural trails leading to Runtún.
• Native flora and wildlife.
• Natural viewpoints perfect for photography.

Throughout the journey, your local guide will share fascinating information about the area's history, culture, agriculture, flora, and wildlife.

Return to Baños

After completing the ride, return to the ranch, hand back your equipment, and travel comfortably by private transportation back to downtown Baños de Agua Santa.
