ITINERARY
Day 1 | Flight Quito – Baltra | Santa Cruz Highlands
Reception at Baltra airport by a bilingual guide and transfer to the Santa Cruz Highlands, a lush and fertile region dominated by Scalesia forests.
Visit a private giant tortoise reserve, where these iconic animals roam freely. Walk among the tortoises in their natural habitat.
Afterward, visit a 450-meter-long illuminated lava tunnel, where you can observe unique volcanic formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, and mineral walls.

Day 2 | Santa Cruz – Isabela | Tintoreras Tour
Transfer to the dock to board the speedboat to Isabela (approx. 2.5 hours).
Arrival at Puerto Villamil and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, excursion to Las Tintoreras, a group of volcanic islets where you can observe white-tip reef sharks, marine iguanas, turtles, sea lions, and Galapagos penguins.
This activity combines sailing, hiking, and light snorkeling.

Day 3 | Sierra Negra Volcano – Chico Volcano
Excursion to Sierra Negra, home to the second largest active volcanic crater in the world.
Transfer to the highlands of Isabela and guided hike to the crater rim, with spectacular views of the volcanic landscape and the ocean.
Optionally, continue to Chico Volcano, where you can observe fumaroles and lava flows in shades of red, yellow, and black, creating an almost Martian landscape.
Return in the afternoon and free time to enjoy the beaches of Isabela.

Day 4 | Free Morning | Isabela – Santa Cruz
Free morning to relax, walk on the beach, or explore the town.
Transfer to the dock and speedboat back to Santa Cruz (approx. 2.5 hours).
Arrival in Puerto Ayora and transfer to the hotel.

Day 5 | Bay Tour – Santa Cruz
Half-day guided excursion known as the Bay Tour, one of the most popular activities in the Galapagos.
Visit sites such as La Lobería, Canal del Amor, Playa de los Perros, and Las Grietas, combining hiking, wildlife observation, and snorkeling. Accompanied by a naturalist guide, you will learn about the history, flora, and fauna of the archipelago.
Free afternoon in Puerto Ayora.
