El Junco Lagoon is one of the most interesting natural attractions in the highlands of San Cristóbal Island in the Galápagos. It is located approximately 30 minutes by car from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and offers a completely different landscape from the coastal areas.

El Junco is a freshwater lagoon surrounded by highland vegetation and wildlife. Its elevated location creates a cooler and often wetter environment, making this area very different from the warm coastal landscapes of San Cristóbal.

During the visit, you can enjoy a walk around the edge of the lagoon while observing the surrounding vegetation and wildlife.
