Day 1 | Arrival in Quito

 

Welcome at Mariscal Sucre International Airport and private transfer to your hotel.

Free time for rest and acclimatization.

Accommodation: Hotel in Quito
Meals: Not included


 

Day 2 | Quito – Historic Center – Middle of the World

Guided tour through Quito’s Historic Center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We will visit:

  • Basilica of the National Vow
  • Independence Square (Plaza Grande)
  • La Compañía Church
  • Panecillo Viewpoint

Later, visit the Middle of the World Monument, where you will learn about the equatorial line and take part in interactive experiments.

Day 3 | Otavalo – Peguche – Cotacachi – Cuicocha

Departure from Quito to Imbabura Province.

We will visit:

 

  • Otavalo Indigenous Market
  • Plaza de Ponchos
  • Peguche Waterfall
  • Local artisan workshops

 

Free time for shopping and photography

Return and overnight in Quito.

Day 4 | Cotopaxi – Quilotoa

Travel to Cotopaxi National Park.

Activities:

  • Hike to José Rivas Refuge (4,864 m.a.s.l.)
  • View of Cotopaxi Volcano
  • Andean landscape photography
  • Free exploration time

Overnight near Cotopaxi.


Continue to Quilotoa Lagoon.

During the route we will visit:

  • Andean viewpoints
  • Tigua art galleries
  • Indigenous communities

At Quilotoa:

 

  • Walk along the crater rim
  • Optional descent to the lagoon
  • Optional kayaking
  • Traditional Andean lunch

Transfer and overnight in Baños de Agua Santa.

Day 5 | Baños – Waterfalls Route

Tour along the famous Waterfalls Route.

We will visit:

  • Agoyán Dam
  • Manto de la Novia Waterfall
  • Pailón del Diablo Waterfall

 

Continue to:

  • Tree House (Casa del Árbol)
  • Fantasías de Volar
  • Diamond Platform

Day 6 | Free Day in Baños de Agua Santa

Free day to enjoy optional activities:

Day 7 | Baños – Amazon Experience

Traslado hacia el Puyo

 Se  realizará el recorrido de 1hora y 30mnts, en nuestro vehículo privado, en el camino podrá observar la Ruta de las cascadas.

 

-Visita al mirador Mira Mera

Nuestra primera parada será el mirador Mira Mera cuyo nombre hace honor al cantón que te dará la bienvenida a la región amazónica.

 

 -Almuerzo típico amazónico (opcional)

Continuamos el recorrido en canoa durante 20 minutos hasta llegar al lugar donde degustaremos un delicioso almuerzo, para recargar energía, tenemos 4 opciones para degustar como:

  • Pollo
  • Carne
  • Maito de Pescado (Costo Adicional 3$)
  • Vegetales

 

-Caminata guiada a través del bosque húmedo tropical

Por la tarde tendremos una caminata de 1 hora dentro de la selva nuestro guía especializado nos dará información sobre plantas y árboles de la Amazonia hasta llegar a la cascada Hola Vida, aquí podrán nadar y disfrutar de sus aguas cristalinas.

 

 – Visita a comunidad Kichwa local

Nuestro siguiente punto es visitar la comunidad indígena Coto Cocha ellos nos harán participes de una danza tradicional, del uso de la cerbatana y de su museo donde están las artesanías que ellos fabrican en caso de que deseen adquirirlas lo podrán hacer.

 

 -Visita al mirador Indichuris

Nos movilizamos al mirador Indichuris aquí usted será testigo de una hermosa puesta de sol rodeado de lianas, hamacas, columpios, la selva y como fondo el imponente Río Pastaza. (Costo Adicional 3$)

 

-Hospedaje y Cena

Nuestro hospedaje nos está esperando, vamos a convivir en una comunidad indígena, cenaremos y listos para una caminata nocturna para apreciar la flora y fauna de nuestra Amazonia, regresamos a nuestro hospedaje para tener un merecido descanso.


 

Day 8 | Amazon & Chocolate Experience

 

Desayuno.

Caminata en Selva hacia la “CASCADA ESCONDIDA” 3 horas aproximadamente. Ruta geobotanica hospedaje hoteles

Interpretación de flora y fauna existente en el sector.

Observación de pájaros, nidos, mariposas e insectos.

Caminata y baño en la Cascada Escondida. y/o en la Cascada Sagrada (Natación, fotografía).

 

 Almuerzo. (Tour y gastronomía amazónica)

 

Por la tarde, realizaremos una excursión en busca de caimanes. Navegaremos o caminaremos cerca del río mientras el guía utiliza linternas para localizar caimanes en su hábitat natural. Esta actividad es completamente segura y una de las experiencias más emocionantes de la Amazonía.

 

Proceso del Chocolate Organico de Ecuador

 Visitara una casa local y seremos partícipes de la elaboración del chocolate orgánico.

 


Day 9 | Amazon – Cuenca

Breakfast and transfer to Cuenca.

Accommodation: Hotel in Riobamba
Meals: Breakfas


Day 10 | Ingapirca – Cuenca

City tour in Cuenca:

  • Historic buildings
  • Beautiful squares
  • Narrow colonial streets
  • Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception

Visit to Ingapirca Archaeological Complex.

Accommodation: Hotel in Cuenca
Meals: Breakfast


Day 11 | Cuenca & Chordeleg

City tour in Cuenca:

 

  • Cuenca Cathedral
  • Calderón Park
  • Tomebamba River
  • Colonial streets

Visit Chordeleg, famous for handmade jewelry and filigree.

Overnight in Cuenca.


 

Day 12 | Ingapirca Excursion

Full-day excursion to Ingapirca, the most important Inca archaeological site in Ecuador.

We will explore:

  • Temple of the Sun
  • Cañari and Inca ruins
  • Archaeological trails

Return and overnight in Cuenca.


 

Day 13 | Transfer to Guayaquil or Quito

 


 

Day 14 | Flight to Galápagos – Santa Cruz Island

Flight to Galápagos Islands.

Visit:

  • Lava tunnels
  • El Chato Reserve
  • Giant tortoises in their natural habitat

Overnight in Puerto Ayora.


 

Day 15 | Tortuga Bay & Charles Darwin Station

Activities:

  • Eco hike to Tortuga Bay
  • Marine iguana observation
  • Optional kayaking
  • Visit to Charles Darwin Research Station

Overnight in Santa Cruz.

 


Day 16 | Isabela Island & Concha de Perla

Boat transfer to Isabela Island.

Activities:

 

  • Snorkeling at Concha de Perla
  • Sea lions, rays, and turtles observation
  • Beach walk

Overnight in Isabela.


 

Day 17 | Sierra Negra Volcano & Tintoreras

Excursion to Sierra Negra Volcano, one of the largest volcanic craters in the world.

Then visit:

 

  • Tintoreras Islet
  • White-tip reef sharks
  • Blue-footed boobies

Overnight in Isabela.


 

Day 18 | Return to Santa Cruz

Return by boat to Santa Cruz Island.

Free afternoon for shopping and local food.

Overnight in Santa Cruz.


Day 19 | San Cristóbal – Interpretation Center

Navigation to San Cristóbal Island.

Visit:

  • Interpretation Center
  • Tijeretas viewpoint
  • Mann Beach

Overnight in San Cristóbal.


 

Day 20 | La Lobería & Punta Carola

Activities:

  • Snorkeling with sea lions
  • Free time at Punta Carola
  • Photography and relaxation
  • Farewell dinner

 

Overnight in San Cristóbal.


 

Day 21 | Airport Transfer 

Breakfast and transfer to San Cristóbal Airport.
